The Golden City: Salamanca

Salamanca, known as the “Golden City” for its shimmering sandstone buildings, is a small, friendly and welcoming city. Situated in the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula, it’s part of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-León and is located 200 kilometers from Madrid. The University of Salamanca is Spain’s oldest university and one of the oldest in Europe, along with the universities of Paris, Oxford and Bologna. This makes Salamanca one of the most important academic centers of Spain as well as a global point of reference for the Spanish language. Salamanca is a perfect place to study Spanish and you will only need a couple of days to acquaint yourself with our city. Salamanca is a peaceful place where you won’t have to deal with crowds, traffic problems or noise, yet it’s also a city in which boredom doesn’t exist and there’s always something new to do.

Price is just 1.425€, and the starting date can be any month of 2009. If you need further information, just take a look at our website: /promotion/learn-spanish-visiting-salamanca.html
