Friends celebrating on a rooftop party with city view.

We review the cities that are considered the most fun in Spain based on the original and unique parties that can be enjoyed in them!

Spain is characterized by its multicultural nature, and this can be clearly seen in the type of leisure and entertainment it offers for all kinds of audiences. Of course, depending on the city you go to, you will find different ways to have fun. Take note!

Madrid and Barcelona, the Best Concerts

If you are looking for unforgettable concerts or music festivals that go down in history, the vast majority of them are held in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona throughout the year. Some examples of festivals that are as intense as they are fun include Primavera Sound and Sónar in Barcelona, or Festimad, Dcode, and Mulafest in Madrid.

Ibiza, the Wildest Island

If you want to have fun with electronic music and gigantic nightclubs (some even holding Guinness World Records), the island of Ibiza is the most suitable destination. On this interesting piece of Mediterranean land, the best international DJs gather every year to offer endless sessions on the beach, on terraces, in clubs...

The entire island is a continuous electronic music session, and the fun doesn't end until the season closes well into autumn. Names of venues like Space, Ushuaia, Bora Bora, and Pacha are linked with artists like Luciano, David Guetta, Carl Cox... If it's electronic, you won't find it better than in Ibiza.

Canary Islands, Carnival, Carnival

In the Canary Islands, what many around the world consider to be the most fun party of all, Carnival, is celebrated. With more than five centuries of history, the custom of dressing up in striking outfits and holding parades with incredible music and shows attracts thousands of tourists during the months of January and March, depending on the year. However, the cultural roots of Carnival are so closely linked to Canarian society that there are related parties, shows for tourists, and a Carnival atmosphere all year round, as it is considered part of the essence of these islands.

Fun Festivals in Various Cities

Throughout history, traditional customs have brought us some of the most fun festivals that can be enjoyed anywhere in the world. An example is Granada, where in the town of Bérchules, New Year's Eve is also celebrated in August, in tribute to a 1971 power outage that forced them to postpone the official celebration.

Another very curious festival is held in Buñol (Valencia), where the summer ends with a spectacular tomato fight that has become popular as the Tomatina. Some say it is the most fun experience in the world.
