If you come to Spain you will find…

Spain has monuments and places that rival the most iconic in the world. Would you like to discover them?

If you come to Spain, you will find many interesting places and it is very likely that you will compare them with other sites you already know or have visited in other countries. We have done the same! Do you want to know, for example, what our Florence or our Notre Dame would be? Let us tell you.

  • The Spanish Broadway: if you are looking for a place where neon lights anticipate numerous and varied theatrical shows, works where a successful career is born or crashes, where dreams come true on stage, you have two options: go to Madrid's Gran Vía or Avinguda del Paral·lel in Barcelona.
  • The Spanish Notre Dame: an architectural jewel that gives personality to an entire city? If you are looking for a monument like that in Spain, you have to go see the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (in Galicia), or the Burgos Cathedral (Castile and León).
  • The Spanish Versailles: an enchanting place of refined taste, home to kings, and where history has been made. Yes, we also have two good examples: the first in Aranjuez (very close to Madrid), a beautiful and elegant palace dating from the early years of the 19th century with impressive gardens; and the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso, built by Philip V (remember, he was the grandson of Louis XIV of France), which stands out for its cool atmosphere and its fountains.
  • The Spanish Florence: Here we don't have our heart divided in two, but in three. Which Spanish city could resemble the mythical and beautiful birthplace of the Renaissance? Zaragoza held the title until it was devastated during the Peninsular War, but it still retains much of its splendor in its palaces and historic buildings; on the other hand, there are those who would say it is Valencia, with its fine examples of medieval buildings; but for many, the title should belong to Toledo, a magical, cultural, and ancient city if ever there was one.

As you can see: not only do we have places that have nothing to envy compared to the most emblematic in the world, we have them in pairs!
